WELCOME to the JOY MOOS COLLECTION/Ethnic Inspired Jewellery blog. This the place where we can communicate with each other; where I can share events regarding my original designed jewellery...and where I can record some ideas and thoughts about my journey in becoming a jewellery designer. If you go to my new website:www.joymooscollection.com or to my shop at Etsy:www.etsy.com/shop/thejoymooscollection You will find some biographical information...that tells you who I am...where I have been.....and where I am now!

Today I wish to introduce you to the care of your jewellery: After all, you have spent both time and $$ making choices of which necklace and which bracelet you MUST have.....so please pay attention to the following....and you will enjoy your favourite "sparkles" for a long time...

CARING FOR YOUR JEWELLERY

Every piece of THE JOY MOOS COLLECTION’s artisan jewellery is hand-crafted,and paying special attention to detail is very important.  Each piece is unique and delicate.

.Soooo...

Please use the appropriate care and you will enjoy your new JOY MOOS  jewellery for a long time to come.

General Care
After each use, gently wipe your jewellery with a soft cloth and store it in a jewellery box or pouch.
Please avoid direct contact with water and chemicals such as chlorine, perfume, detergent or lotion; these may damage or stain your jewellery.

Sterling Silver .925
Sterling silver jewellery may also darken or tarnish with normal wear and exposure to the elements. I recommend gently wiping the metal with a soft polishing cloth to bring back the natural shine.
You may use ultrasonic cleaners and non-abrasive polishes, but be sure to avoid polishing abrasives as these may ruin the finish of the metal and may leave scratches. Be careful to read the instructions on any commercially available cleaners.

Gem Stones
Special care should be given to gem stone jewellery.
Always avoid contact with household chemicals and cleaners, and never expose gemstones to hot solutions, abrasive polishes or ultrasonic cleaners.

Also be very careful not to expose them to perfume or other body care products. Gemstones may be cleaned with a non-abrasive jewellery cleaner, but I recommend simply using a soft polishing cloth to brighten your gemstone jewellery
